What You Must Have:
- At least two years' experience with Homecare Homebase Hospice EMR (Both in PointCare and HCHB usage and support) - Required
- Ability to travel up to 40 percent of the time (more if during special projects)
- Current Driver's License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
- General working knowledge of Hospice and Palliative procedures, regulations (state and federal), and operations standard - Preferred
- Experience in planning, organizing and successfully supporting an EMR system across a multi-state organization.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in EMR information technology
- Effectively presents information and responds to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customer
- Proficient with various Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Lives in the DFW Metroplex
- Willing to work a Hybrid Schedule

What You Will Do:
- Provides daily oversight and quality assurance of assigned duties in support of the EMR and its vendors
- Manages compliance of EMR system policies and processes to ensure integrity of the data and system controls – including but not limited to EMR ticketing system
- Works with the EMR department leadership Agency and Home Office Leadership to ensure the EMR system is operationally aligned with business priorities
- Responsible for completing HCHB related tickets in the IT ticketing system
- Participates in developing strategic plans for the support and education of company employees in relation to the Electronic Medical Record system and its vendors
- Internal liaison for the EMR system to ensure ongoing responsiveness and communication with internal customers regarding questions, issues, and updates of the system.
- Creates and maintaining educational materials
- Responsible for taking rotation of afterhours HCHB phone or ticketing system support
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
- Participate in all mandatory staff in-services and meetings
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
- Performance of other duties as required
