Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employment Law Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities:
- Provide insightful legal advice on a wide range of employment law matters, including but not limited to wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, and employee rights.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation sessions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 2 years of experience in employment law.
- Proven experience representing clients in employment law cases, preferably on the plaintiff side.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Experience in wage and hour class action cases.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
