This role is essential in providing expert legal counsel and representation to our clients in complex employment-related disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients on employment law matters related to insurance defense.
- Manage and litigate EPLI cases, focusing on discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, and tort liability.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and litigation efforts.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests related to employment law cases.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediation and court proceedings.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and relevant regulations affecting clients' industries.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in employment law and insurance defense.
- Demonstrated expertise in EPLI, discrimination, wage and hour claims, and tort liability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
