We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and detail-oriented Employment Attorney to join our robust legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of employment law matters, including but not limited to, advising on PAGA, drafting legal documents, and handling litigation cases. 1. Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of employment law matters such as wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour laws, and employee rights.
2. Manage all aspects of litigation, including conducting depositions, drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in court.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of employment agreements and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
4. Advise on PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) claims and develop strategies to defend against such claims.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis to keep abreast of current developments in employment law and to provide the most effective advice to clients.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
7. Develop and deliver training programs on employment law topics for clients and staff.
Job Details
Qualifications:
1. J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on litigation.
4. Deep knowledge of PAGA and other relevant employment laws and regulations.
5. Exceptional legal writing and oral communication skills.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
8. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
10. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
