What you will do:
This high-profile position requires a dynamic, high-energy professional to represent FCFCU’s brand and corporate values within your assigned member group market. In this role you will foster B2C and B2B relationships to significantly grow membership and product/service utilization and be responsible for delivering an unmatched sales and service experience as a function of First Commonwealth’s Bank @ Work Program.
You will help empower members on their pursuit of financial happiness by offering personalized, needs-based solutions under the direction of VP, Director of Corporate and Community Development and partnership with our Market Managers by executing the following:
• Act as primary contact to develop, cultivate and nurture member group relationships in HR, Finance and other key business areas within your assigned member
groups.
• Work with member group contacts to deeply understand their business in order to grow membership, product/service utilization and business services
relationships.
• Act as the face of FCFCU to your assigned relationships and leverage relationship management best practices to achieve goals.
• Manage schedule of visits to your assigned member groups per business development plan (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) to ensure 80%+/- of time is
spent in the field. The remainder of time is to be spent in the financial centers in your assigned market to allow for collaboration with Associates, Managers and
members to identify leads and understand the market needs, trends, etc.
• Facilitate continual collaboration among key internal stakeholders in your assigned market including but not limited to Retail, Lending, Business Services and
Marketing teams.
• Ensure your top-tier member groups needs are being met based on the group’s individual penetration plan and preferences utilizing various tools and resources.
This includes onsite visits, benefit fairs, webinars, seminars, events, lead capture, and email.
• Be the primary VOC (voice of customer/member) for your assigned member group relationships, relaying critical feedback to help FCFCU continually improve and
make doing business with us easier and more attractive.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
• Possess a can-do attitude, with the ability to network, drive urgency in the sales cycle and execute solution strategies; manage a robust pipeline.
• Excellent listening and collaboration skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to deliver presentations to small groups.
• 5+ years in a sales or relationship management role within the financial services industry
• Proven ability to create rapport in a retail B2C sales environment and achieve goals
• Proven ability to nurture, cultivate and manage B2C relationships and achieve goals
• Associate degree in business, or a related field; or commensurate work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, Internet and E-mail.
Preference will be given to those who have:
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in business, or related field.
• Financial Wellness certification.
