Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Duration: 3+ Months Contract (with potential for extension)
About the Role:
As an Employee Relations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment.
You'll be responsible for handling employee concerns, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations: Manage complex employee issues, such as conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation.
Ensure accurate documentation of all employee relations cases.
Provide guidance on company policies, employment law, and HR best practices.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Legal to address workforce reduction efforts.
Compliance: Stay updated on current employment laws and regulations.
Oversee compliance monitoring programs to ensure adherence to company policies.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Human Resources 3+ years of experience conducting complex investigations
Strong knowledge of HR fundamentals (benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, diversity and inclusion, training and development)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationships with employees and management
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams Knowledge of legal practices and how they apply to workplace issues
