They are currently preparing for an exciting expansion project, including the construction of a brand-new facility. This is a full-time, day shift, in-person position.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is between $95,000 - $125,000 per year based on experience.
- The organization offers a full benefits package, including relocation assistance up to $5,000.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive employee and occupational health services for all healthcare locations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory/legal standards.
- Implement and administer employee safety and wellness programs.
- Provide employee health education and guidance.
- Establish and maintain records and systems to support employee health programs.
- Record and maintain all pertinent health data on employees.
- Notify employees when activity is required, such as fit testing, immunizations, and titers.
- Ensure activities are completed in a timely manner and notify department leaders when they are past due.
- Provide immunizations for staff.
- Order and maintain an adequate supply of all necessities for the service.
- Provide information relating to updating health and safety procedures, policies, and orders as requested.
- Monitor data for reporting to state and federal agencies.
- Follow up on incidents of employee injuries and exposures.
- Make recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Follow up on test reports from staff and provide counseling as needed.
- Implement strategies to maximize employee productivity and overall health and safety to reduce disability claims, on-the-job injury claims, and absenteeism.
- Collaborate with others to develop a return-to-work program for employee injuries.
- Provide support to Human Resources regarding ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) discussions and make recommendations.
- Serve as a resource to management, staff, and providers regarding employee health and safety issues.
- Ensure personal safety by following safe work practices and policies, including security, safety, understanding of MSDS, equipment, infection control, fire, disaster, safe lifting, and body mechanics.
- Ensure self-compliance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as labor agreements.
- Ensure that communication with team members and other support groups is conducted in a courteous and efficient manner consistent with the organization's values.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and ensure personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job function while representing the organization.
- Ensure that additional accountabilities, as required by management, are handled in a manner necessary to meet organizational standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Master's degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse in the state of Washington is required.
- Three years of experience in Employee Health is preferred.
