About the Job
Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Director, the Employee Engagement and Communications Associate is responsible for all aspects of company event planning, employee related community engagement, factory tour planning, employee communications, employee engagement surveys, training organization, and ordering and distribution of employee apparel.
Essential Job Functions
Planning, execution, success and cost tracking of all employee and company events
Organization and planning of factory tours
Ordering and distribution of employee apparel
Internal communications for employees including memos and creation of internal marketing material
Facilitation of Best Places to Work survey
Facilitation of all other employee engagement surveys as required
Coordination of all employee trainings and culture workshops
Organization employee related community engagement and volunteering
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Perform other related duties as needed such as supporting Human Resources team with general administration tasks
Skills/Experience/Training
Associates degree
Minimum 3 years of relevant communications, HR, or employee engagement experience
Working knowledge of modern office equipment and procedures
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines and prioritize appropriately
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on a team
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
This is a five day a week onsite position
Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in temperature, noise, odors etc.
Regular use of computer screen, mouse and keyboard
Extended durations of sitting
Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds
Some travel between Hermon facility and Belfast facility required
Some travel to local vendors required
