Overview
The Employee Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering employee growth and enhancing organizational performance. This role is responsible for developing career pathways, performance management, supporting learning systems, and enhancing employee engagement through mentoring and recruitment support. This position is a critical part of Blanchard Machinery’s talent management strategy to drive employee retention, growth, and long-term organization success.

Responsibilities
Career Management and Development consisting of but not limited to:
- Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.
- Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
- Design and implement structured career pathways that provide clear, achievable development opportunities for all employees within the organization.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify role-specific skills, competencies, and qualifications, ensuring pathways align with Blanchard’s strategic goals.
- Develop, curate, and maintain resources, tools, and training programs to support employees in skill-building and career growth.
- Provide personalized guidance, coaching, and resources to employees pursuing career development.
Performance Management consisting of but not limited to:
- Develop and implement performance management strategies to align individual and team objectives with Blanchard’s business goals.
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Trakstar Performance Management System, providing end-user training and troubleshooting as needed.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend strategies to improve employee productivity and engagement.
Employee Engagement and Mentorship Program consisting of but not limited to:
- Coordinate and manage mentoring programs, ensuring alignment with employee career development objectives.
- Provide training, support and constructive feedback to mentors and mentees to enhance their experiences.
- Continuously evaluate and identify areas for improvement in the mentoring programs to meet the needs of participants and organizational goals.
Learning Management System consisting of but not limited to:
- Operate as a support administrator for the Learning Management System, including uploading and organizing training materials and courses.
- Collaborate with trainers to enhance content accessibility and system user-friendliness.
- Provide regular reporting, data analytics, and actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.
Recruitment and Talent Pipeline Development consisting of but not limited to:
- Support the recruiting team by participating in high school, college-level, and military recruitment events to develop a robust talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and recruitment teams to identify and engage potential candidates for technical roles, with a focus on ThinkBig, Apprenticeship Programs, and military placement.
- Promote Blanchard’s brand and culture in outreach efforts, emphasizing opportunities for growth and development.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Education, or Business) or equivalent work experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in talent development, training, or HR administration.
- Experience with performance management systems (preferably Trakstar) and learning management systems (preferably Docebo and LinkedIn Learning).
- Experience in military recruitment and apprenticeship programs is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- willingness to travel as needed to support training initiatives and recruitment efforts.
