- . . . Are responsible for identifying, soliciting, and closing new business
- . . . Generate and cultivate an ongoing list of prospects
- . . . Utilize cold calls, prospecting emails, mail, professional associations, and networking to contact prospective clients
- . . . Can identify opportunities to bring all of World's solutions to our clients - beyond employee benefits (and enjoy the financial rewards of doing so)
- . . . Identify exposures, make recommendations, and create custom programs to eliminate gaps in coverage
- . . . Identify opportunities to round out accounts for existing clients
- . . . Maintain client relationships and retention of accounts through agency’s renewal workflows
- . . . 3-5 years of experience working in an insurance brokerage or carrier.
- . . . A high level of motivation to grow personal success along with the ability to leverage excellent listening skills and a strong customer focus.
- . . .A consultative, positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospective clients and associates.
- . . . Proven experience using Employee Benefits and Sales software platforms such as BenefitPoint and HubSpot.
- . . . The ability to work independently and a desire to collaborate with team members.
- . . . An unwavering commitment to consistently demonstrating: teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and a focus on goals and objectives.
- . . . A focus on proving that they are self-motivated, driven and maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines.
- . . . Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to actively listen, strong attention to detail.
