Employee Benefits Attorney - Gpac

An established law firm in NY is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Employee Benefits Attorney to join their legal team. In this role, you will provide legal counsel on a wide range of employee benefits matters, including pension and retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, executive compensation, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in ERISA, ACA, and related labor and employment laws.

Responsibilities include advising clients on plan design, administration, and compliance, drafting legal documents, representing clients in regulatory matters, and providing legal support for corporate transactions. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree 
• Active bar membership in good standing in New York
• 4+ years of experience in employee benefits law, including ERISA and related federal and state laws.
• In-depth knowledge of fringe benefit plans, retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, and executive compensation.
• Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
• Strong academic background and enthusiasm for client service and initiative are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines effectively.
