Employee Benefits Analyst - AlphaStaff

Position Summary:

The Benefits Analyst is detail-oriented and organized. The Benefits Analyst understands the business, operational, and technical requirements of assigned projects. The primary function is to provide support for our enterprise system (HRIS, CRM, and Financial System) and in house developed custom applications.

Responsibilities:

• Configure new client set up and implement portal specific to client needs and benefit programs offerings.
• Demo capabilities of benefits portal for internal team members and external business partners.
• Manage client data implementation timelines by coordinating with internal subject matter experts to ensure timely deliverables.
• Ensure electronic file feeds are configured in accordance with carrier-provided specifications; transmit file feeds; run reports; audit transmission results.
• Perform testing of system changes.
• Post benefits enrollments into Prism.
• Process client terminations within system for benefits including but not limited to EDI Files.
• HRIS system troubleshooting.
• Complete audits as well as peer reviews for teammates.
• Run reports as requested by clients.
• Partner with internal teams to capture business requirements and develop quality assurance documents for the team.
• Act as the liaison between Employee Benefits, vendors, and other departments.
• Proficient in system functionality and business processes to ensure no gaps.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Associate degree or 5 to 8 years combined work experience and education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Prism experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask and be highly organized.
• 1 to 3 years benefit onboarding process experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 Compensation and Perks:

• Base salary range is $60,000-$70,000, negotiable and commensurate with experience.
