About the Role

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include Emergency medicine: 2 years (Preferred). Veterinary experience: 2 years (Preferred).

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training when-needed. Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g. X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures. Problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language. Availability to take evening, overnight or weekend shifts in cases of emergency. Patience, a sense of humor, and a love for animals. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree.

• Shift availability: Day Shift, Night Shift, Overnight Shift. Ability to Relocate: Silver Spring, MD: Relocate before starting work (Required).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Emergency medicine and Veterinary care.
