Sunstates Security is hiring anEmergency Response Team LeadOfficerfor a high-profile client site in the Bellevue, WA area.This position offers an annual salary of $91,520, with a weekly pay schedule. The primary job responsibilities of the Emergency Response Team lead are as follows: + Provide safety and security services to ensure a safe environment for all personnel (employees, contractors, visitors, and guests). + Provide specific access control services. Access Control services are critical to the service and will be the first line of detection and response for the Physical Security Team. + Enforce client security policies to include access control, vehicle parking, COVID-19 access requirements and reporting, and observe and report any violations of policy to the Physical Security Team. + Issue/provide client temporary, employee, visitor, or guest badges as required by virtue of the post requirements. + Monitor physical security alarms such as door forced open, door held open alarms; additionally, any audible alarm necessitating a physical emergency response or all for service detailed in site-specific post orders. + Abide by operational security best practices for information security protection i.e., logging in and out of devices anytime devices are not in use, the use of screen protectors to shield sensitive information, and the completion of new hire security orientation provided by the Physical Security team. + Operate and monitor life safety systems and equipment such as CCTV, Security/Duress Alarms, electronic access control, and any other systems that may be installed at the locations. + Ensure prompt action is taken to prevent or minimize losses, accidents, arson, property damages, or any other security incidents. + Ensure effective prompt reporting is carried out for both Incidents and Observations for an SBAR format to provide meaningful real-time recommendations. + Assist with onsite termination, including the process for notifying the Physical team and communicating to the GSOC to ensure access is canceled on their badges. + Provide any escorts throughout the facilities. + Be the point person for any onsite emergencies such as building evacuations or active shooter situations. + Be the point person for any medical-related incidents and will administer emergency aid up to the point an ambulance is required. Requirements: + Must be a US Citizen or have a valid US work permit. + Valid WA Guard CARD. + Valid CPR Card. + Military Experience (Preferred) + Law enforcement experience (Preferred) + Be at least 25 years of age. + A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience + 1 year of security experience + Successfully pass a 10-panel drug test. + Successfully pass a background investigation for the city, county, state, and federal government. + Successfully pass a motor vehicle inspection. + Hold a valid state-issued driver's license if operating a motor vehicle. + Meet all federal, state, and local licensing requirements. + Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner + Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently. + Be physically able to perform the required tasks assigned to the relevant posts. + Be neat, clean, and well-groomed while providing services. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
