Wellhart is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment at a medical facility in North Carolina starting in late November for 4 days. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic emergency department during the holiday season.
Job Details:
• 4-day assignment: November 30, December 1, 25, 26, 2024
• 12-hour shifts from 7:30am-7:30pm
Qualifications:
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
• Active North Carolina medical license
• Active DEA license
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
• Recent ER experience (within past two years for FM/IM)
Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency medical care to patients
• Perform procedures including intubation, vent management, and extubating
• Collaborate with hospitalist, radiology, intensivist, and surgical backup
• Utilize telemedicine services as needed
