About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Houma, LA, offering 12-hour shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. with competitive compensation up to $21/hr.

As an EMT, you will:

Assist in providing healthcare to inmates.

Perform intake physical examinations for newly incarcerated inmates.

Administer medications to inmates.

Respond to medical emergencies.

Identify inmates classified as medical risks.

Comply with medical directives regarding pathogens and waste disposal.

Maintain accurate medical records.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
