JOB SUMMARY:
Software design and development for Automotive Infotainment Software in Embedded Linux and Android Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Team works on Infotainment Software (Linux and Android Systems) for a leading Automotive Manufacturer.
- Work on a new generation infotainment system involving heavy R&D and design work.
- Participate in Team meetings for software development process. This person will review requirements and come up with a design, implementation/programming, and create test cases.
- Interact with Development/Dev QA Teams. May participate in meetings with software suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related degree.
- 7+ years of experience in Software Development with at least 5 years of experience working with Linux and/or Android Embedded Systems.
- 7 years of experience in coding and programming skills in C, C++.
- Advanced programming and debugging skills with C, C++/11/14, Java, and unit test framework.
- Development tools and IDE such as VS Code, Android Studio, GIT, JIRA, C-Make, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9AM--6PM and On-Site Days of Tues, Wed, Thurs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge with security concepts such as Crypto Libraries, File-Based Encryption, OpenSSL Libraries, TEE.
- Understanding of Linux OS Concepts.
- Familiar with Android Open-Source Platform programming.
- Ability to navigate and debug through complex existing code base in C, C++, and Java.
- Android AOSP platform development.
- Embedded Linux development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering
