We are looking for Embedded Software Engineers, with experience in the Aerospace/Aviation industry.
This position is located in Sarasota, FL and is full-time, Monday – Thursday. This is not a work from home position.
Relocation allowance may be offered for the right candidate.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This role is responsible for the design, development and implementation of embedded, real time applications for our aviation power distribution and cabin control products.
GENERAL DUTIES:
* Design and implement embedded software using C, C++, and Assembly Language
* Write technical documents including Software Requirements, Software Design Descriptions and Software Verification
* Conduct peer reviews of designs and software code
* Perform software verification and validation activities
* Prepare and present technical design reviews both internally and externally
* Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
* B.S. degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
* Software design and development
* Programming real-time embedded software applications
* C, 8 bit and 16 bit microprocessor assembly languages
* Proficiency with development tools, in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers and test tools
* Experience developing DO-178B software applications, Level C or higher
* Working knowledge of complete software life cycle needs
* Aviation Software Standard, RTCA/DO-178B
* Static analysis tools: Understand for C, PC-Lint
* Software simulation and Hardware/Software integration
* Software Configuration Management
* Databus Communications (ARINC 429, RS 232/422/485, CAN)
* Wireless Communications (IEEE 802.15.4)
* Hardware Design
* Solid state power control systems/electronic circuit breakers
* Product and software specifications
* High level operating systems including, Multi-threaded, Real-time applications, GUIs, and Drivers
* Production test equipment specification and development
* Excellent analytical, design, time management, written, communication and documentation skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
* Read/Write Fluently in English
* Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment
* Sustained dependable attendance.
* Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
* Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
* Travel, up to 10%
