Embedded Software Engineer - X-Force

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary group, using your expertise to design, develop, and integrate advanced software systems for critical projects.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate embedded software for aerospace and defense projects.
• Ensure software components meet industry standards, including DO-178C requirements.
• Develop high-quality, real-time software using C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software to ensure performance and reliability in real-time environments.
• Document software designs, processes, and test results in accordance with aerospace industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and compliance with DO-178C standards.
• Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) standards.
• Additional experience in safety-critical systems or avionics software development.
