Job Description
As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will:
Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects meet timelines and quality benchmarks.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and daily tasks to ensure seamless operations.
Develop and manage project schedules, addressing delays and maintaining adherence to deadlines.
Monitor budgets, implementing cost-effective strategies while prioritizing quality and safety.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular site inspections for safety and regulatory adherence.
Serve as the primary on-site liaison for stakeholders, resolving issues and facilitating effective communication.
Maintain comprehensive records, including daily logs, progress updates, and change orders using tools like Procore.
Qualifications
Experience:
5–10+ years in construction management or site supervision, with at least 5 years in stick-built residential construction projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in construction management tools such as Procore or Microsoft Project.
Knowledge:
Expertise in podium construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required.
Key Competencies:
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
Thorough understanding of Connecticut building codes and permitting processes.
