Embedded Engineer - GNU Radio (Hybrid) at Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Hybrid contract position for an Embedded Engineer to create low level firmware and drivers.
• Embedded ARM development to build GNU Radio blocks.
• Driver/ Firmware development for Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications.
• GNU Radio blocks satellite payload design.
• Programming in C / C++ and Python.

Requirements

• 5+ years of embedded software development
• Familiarity with GNU Radio and experience with building GNU Radio blocks.
• Experience with SDR (software defined radio) application development.
• Experience with Yocto Build environments.
• Experience creating low-level firmware/drivers for embedded ARM environment.
• Exposure to FEC (Forward Error Correction) and ECC (Error Correction Code) technologies.
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, and Internet adjacent protocols and buses.
• Programming experience with C/C++ and Python.
• Position is with a defense contractor so US citizenship is required.
