We are looking for a Linux-focused Software Engineer to develop custom embedded touch controls for industrial and commercial devices. Ideal candidates will have expertise in device driver development, user space applications, and performance measurement. Knowledge of ARM processors, UI development, and embedded systems is a plus. We’re seeking a self-driven engineer passionate about cutting-edge technology, IoT device creation, and a deep understanding of software and hardware systems. This full-time role offers rapid growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
+ Write code in C/C++ that works with hardware drivers and other software APIs.
+ Understand program requirements and create elegant, well-documented code based on high-level design specifications.
+ Reproduce and isolate bugs, and implement fixes.
+ Integrate, develop, debug, and measure Linux hardware drivers.
+ Design solutions by integrating new or existing software.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
+ At least three years of experience writing software for Linux systems in a business environment.
+ Proficiency in C/C++.
+ Experience with Linux.
+ Knowledge of Yocto and HMI.
+ Experience with microprocessors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of Qt or Crank is a big plus.
Work Environment
This position is on-site with a team of 10 in the person, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.
