About the role
The Senior Training Facilitator acts as a team lead to the Training Facilitators in their day-to-day activities, which primarily includes ensuring that new employees receive required training necessary to prepare employees for their role and that existing employees receive routine updates and refresher training as necessary. This individual will also create some training materials, like mini-modules and Training Tidbits. The Senior Training Facilitator acts as the key point of contact between HR, IT and training facilitators during instructor led training classes. He or she must also be comfortable using various types of technology, for communication, organization, creation and facilitation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential functions
- Perform all functions of Training Facilitators, including utilizing programs created by the Content Development Specialists to conduct instructor led training (ILT) sessions.
- Assist or conduct train the trainer sessions for new programs.
- Act as a key point of contact for contractor, Amazon support teams and embedded facilitators during instructor led training sessions (ILT).
- Create supplemental training materials and job aids, as assigned.
- Other duties, as directed by the Professional Learning Manager.
Minimum
- Internal candidates must have at least 6 months in their current role for Sibylline
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills
- 4+ years’ experience in training, education, communications, content development
- Detail oriented, excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience working with training products, particularly Learning Management Systems (LMS), Articulate, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (ideally HR, Education, or Adult Learning). Prior military service may be considered in lieu of a four-year degree
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and solving ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment
- Experience in or demonstrated ability to interact and build rapport with teams of all levels
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective written and verbal communication

The remuneration for this role is negotiable for the right candidate, dependent on qualifications, aptitude and experience. The salary for this role is $78k
