Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

We provide security services and products that keep our loved ones safe and our facilities secure. Products include: keycard locks on doors, time and attendance equipment for employees, alarm systems, door operators, door closers, etc.
Due to growth, our dynamic engineering team is looking for an experienced Electrical or Firmware Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design new products from cradle to grave.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test embedded electrical systems, including both analog and digital electronics.
2. Develop firmware for microcontrollers using C/C++.
3. Work with FreeRTOS and Bare Metal environments.
4. Utilize oscilloscopes to test and troubleshoot electrical systems.
5. Design and implement embedded hardware systems.
6. Develop and maintain WiFi and wireless communication systems.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in the field of embedded electrical engineering.
10. Conduct system performance evaluations and make necessary adjustments to meet project specifications.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
1. BSEE/BSCE/BSEET with hardware and firmware experience.
2. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of New Product Development experience required.
3. Familiarity with analog, digital, and embedded hardware.
4. Familiarity with C/C++ and microcontrollers
5. Proficient with the use of general test equipment - oscilloscope, function generator, and multimeter
6. Ability to interface with persons of multiple disciplines and job functions, including software/firmware engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, program managers, production personnel, and outside vendors.
7. Highly motivated and self-driven, sets personal goals, and achieves goals without supervision.
8. Competent in hardware and firmware debugging.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
1. Design experience with analog, digital, and embedded hardware.
2. Design experience with C/C++ and microcontrollers
3. Familiarity with low power (battery), DC Motors, and wireless communication technology.
4. Experience in the use of PC Board design software (EDA).
