Our Client, a non-profit network of 12 hospitals and over 300 outpatient sites, is seeking a Email Campaign Specialist

Job Summary:
The Email Campaign specialist manages end-to-end email digital campaign that supports our customers. The specialist is heavily involved in identifying and interpreting campaign goals, translating them into email campaigns including curation of engaging design and content, coding, development, deployment, and analysis based on audience specific goals.

Job Summary:
The Email Campaign specialist manages end-to-end email digital campaign that supports our customers. The specialist is heavily involved in identifying and interpreting campaign goals, translating them into email campaigns including curation of engaging design and content, coding, development, deployment, and analysis based on audience specific goals.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, establish, baseline goals/metrics, and translate into actionable email campaigns.
- Designs emails/templates that are responsive, engaging for our customers and adheres to industry best practices.
- Examine all creative assets to ensure that creative is optimized for delivery and performance and meets creative brief specifications.
- Develops complex and customized HTML email code/template from scratch including updates to existing templates in HTML/CSS. Execute all email promotion set up, load all email assets into email system. Troubleshoots existing email code as needed.
- Develops email campaign schedule and performs day-to-day execution of email campaign development, QA and deployment processes. Maintain the performance of triggered and transactional email efforts.
- Test all messages to ensure emails are rendering correctly across major email clients, all landing pages and featured Call To Action(s) are live and getting properly tracked.
- Work with email service provider on specifications and development of campaign functionality.
- Coordinate reviews and feedbacks with cross-functional teams and manage handoffs.
- Report on email campaign results and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Document all email policies and processes.
- Participate in daily standups.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of hands-on email production experience in relevant industry executing marketing campaigns
- Highly proficient in coding html emails and ability to write CSS
- Experience in coding emails for responsive design is required
- Advanced knowledge of the latest HTML, CSS, and JavaScript techniques for use in a variety of custom marketing executions. Understanding of marketing principles resulting in branding building, driving traffic and revenue
- Knowledge of CRM and campaign management
- Proficient with SQL, HTML, JavaScript, JSON and XML
- Ability to read, write, and handle large text files
- Familiarity with dynamic personalization & audience segmentation
- Experienced with Google Analytics and A/B Testing
- Experienced in dealing with API's and email automation
- Self-Starting personality with strong work ethic, strong communications, and organizational skills.
- Experienced in Agile Development Principles.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, technology or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Dreamweaver/Photoshop skills
- Experience working with one or more Email Service Providers/Email Platforms (Acoustics/Silver pop etc.)
- Experience using Google Analytics and other marketing automation platforms
- Understanding of CAN-SPAM and email best practices
- Should thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Working knowledge of Website Content Management principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.
