Summary You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the Weapon and Sensor Installation Division, Modernization and Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Port Hueneme Division. Responsibilities You will serve as the Alteration Installation Team (AIT) On Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC) providing technician services for complex project-oriented AIT and in-service engineering services on U.S. and allied ships and/or shore facilities. You will serve as a project leader for all Technical projects associated with the AIT, design, in-service engineering, installation, operation, and maintenance of assigned equipment. You will provide technical consultative services during Installation and Checkout (INCO), Systems Operational Verification Tests (SOVT) Integration Tests, CSSQT, SQT, SAT, or other test/evaluation efforts. You will prepare, review, and update technical documentation relative to installation and checkout of equipment with concerns for lifecycle support. You will provide technical evaluation of and solution to fleet problems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing ship combat system installation and testing requirements to provide technical guidance and resolve issues impacting project objectives for a warfare program.
