Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team as a contractor and provide support to the United States Air Force. The Electronics Engineer specializing in Electronic Warfare (EW) will perform a wide array of analyses and engineering assignments that require a unique set of problem-solving skills, creativity, and the innovative application of advanced techniques and new technology.
Position Title: Electronics Engineer (Electronic Warfare Specialist)
Key Responsibilities:
- EW Analyses and Engineering:
- Conduct in-depth electronic warfare analyses, identifying and addressing unique operational problems.
- Design and develop EW systems and components using innovative techniques and advanced engineering principles.
- Stay abreast of new technologies in the field of EW and assess their potential applications for organizational benefit.
- Problem Solving:
- Apply creative and critical thinking to develop solutions to complex EW challenges.
- Utilize advanced mathematical and engineering methods to model, simulate, and validate EW concepts and systems.
- Research and Development:
- Engage in research to explore new methodologies in EW.
- Lead or contribute to the development of breakthrough technologies and systems in electronic warfare.
- Project Management:
- Oversee technical projects, ensuring objectives are met with innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EW systems into broader defense platforms.
- Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in EW for the organization.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document all phases of research and development clearly and comprehensively.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate complex EW concepts and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance or an ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Extensive experience in electronic warfare engineering and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to solve unique and complex engineering problems.
- Proficient in the use of simulation and modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of the latest advancements in EW technology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
