Electronics Assembly Manufacturing Engineer - Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for a Manufacturing Engineer to lead a manufacturing team in the scale-up, automation, and implementation of electronic device assembly processes.
• Position is with a Philadelphia area developer of innovative medical monitoring systems.
• Work with manufacturing team including engineers, SMT technicians, and assemblers.
• Streamline production and ensure quality standards are met.
• Use Lean Manufacturing value stream mapping to create optimized manufacturing process flow.
• Layout and analyze process flow using process flow diagrams, control plans, and time studies.
• Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements.
• Troubleshoot process issues and improve manufacturing quality and throughput using root cause analysis.
• Develop and drive manufacturing process changes, best practices and innovative solutions.
• Develop and train on manufacturing process specifications and SOPs.
• Draft and implement process validations including IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols with risk assessments and design history file information.
• Support the implementation of company MES and ERP applications software.

Requirements

• BS Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic assembly manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of and experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, & Kaizen.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience working in SMT and Electronic Hardware Manufacturing
• Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is preferred.
