Job Mission:
As an Electronics Architect, you'll spearhead the definition, specification, and validation of robust electronics for EUV light sources. Your role entails close collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Software. Working alongside fellow architects and engineering groups, you'll shape Electrical Systems and associated documentation, contributing to roadmap planning and fostering innovation by integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Providing guidance to the team on various technologies, you'll ensure smooth management of schedules and project planning activities.
Job Description:
Define, specify, and supervise subsystems to meet system specifications, costs, and project timelines.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of reliable, high-availability products.
Conduct trade-off studies to determine optimal implementation scenarios, driving consensus among stakeholders.
Select appropriate hardware architecture to efficiently implement required functionality within complex environments.
Provide technical leadership to Electrical Engineers, guiding them in best design practices.
Review functional and hardware design documents, ensuring quality of hardware building blocks.
Collaborate with Architects and Designers from cross-functional groups, fostering seamless integration.
Education and Experience:
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters, PhD) required.
Minimum 10 years of industry experience in relevant discipline.
Strong expertise acquired through advanced training, study, and hands-on experience.
Familiarity with product compliance and human safety standards.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a process-driven team environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Profound knowledge of Analog and Digital circuit design fundamentals.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a focus on quality.
Ability to simplify complex problems for diverse audiences.
Strong technical presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ownership, decisiveness, and accountability in task execution.
Adaptability to changing workloads and environments.
Other Information:
Located in San Diego with a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Physical requirements include occasional lifting and movement, as well as adherence to clean room protocols.
