Job Mission
As an Electronics Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining, specifying, and validating highly reliable electronics for EUV light sources. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Software, you will lead the creation of Electrical Systems and associated engineering documentation. Your responsibilities will also include contributing to roadmap planning, fostering innovation, and integrating new technologies and methodologies. Additionally, you will provide guidance to the team on various technologies, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Define, specify, and oversee subsystems to meet system specifications, costs, and project timelines.
Collaborate with diverse teams and suppliers to ensure the timely realization of reliable, high-availability products.
Conduct trade-off studies to determine preferred implementation scenarios and drive agreements with stakeholders.
Select appropriate hardware architectures to facilitate efficient implementation within a complex environment.
Provide technical leadership to Electrical Engineers, guiding them in best design practices.
Review functional and hardware design documents, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
Take ownership of the quality of hardware building blocks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters, PhD)
Minimum 10 years of industry experience in a relevant discipline.
Proficiency in product compliance and human safety standards.
Strong skills in hardware design, troubleshooting, and validation.
Experience with engineering test equipment and design tools.
Familiarity with installation, repair, and troubleshooting at various levels.
Knowledge of change management and version control tools.
Broad technical knowledge of cabling concepts, connectivity, and EMC standards.
Familiarity with SAFe-Agile Ways of Working.
Additional experience with PCIe, FPGA, VHDL, PLC, embedded control, and EtherCAT is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
