Job Title: Electronics Lab Technician

Job Duration: 8- month contract (Possibility for extension)

Job Location: Waltham MA - Onsite

Job Summary:

Client Silicon Validation teams are seeking experienced lab technician candidate with strong soldering, hardware assembly, and organization skills.

You’ll be responsible for many aspects of lab operation - Detailed solder work down to 01005 component level, swapping devices under test, maintaining lab equipment, organizing

calibration cycles with external vendors, shipping and receiving, modification of hardware

setups under engineer direction or provided schematic, assistance of remote debug with engineers, and general lab organization.

This work will involve heavy lifting (up to 30/50lbs).

Onsite in Waltham MA.

Description

Board modifications and rework with 01005 components

Assisting hardware debug with remote engineers

Following test procedures and DUT swaps

Configuration of hardware setups with provided schematics

Shipping and Receiving

Superb communication and collaboration skills

Key Qualifications

Experience soldering 01005 components

An excellent organizer

7+ years equivalent work experience

Ideal candidate will have experience programming in Python

Education & Experience

7+ years equivalent work experience
