Description:
Job Description -- Engineering Electronics Technician performs intricate technical tasks to assist engineers with building out electronic systems. Able to calibrate and use soldering equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other common electrical technician equipment. Able to read schematics and troubleshoot an electronics system to determine cause and remedy for malfunctions.
Responsibilities:
Support rapid prototyping and soldering of PCBs
Build out electronic systems with assistance from EEs
Maintain an organized workspace and execute on workload queue
Ability to communicate effectively with designers and other engineers
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Job requirements:
Minimum: Associates Degree in Electrical or Electrical Systems Technology or Electrician Certification.
1-3 years of soldering and proper handling of PCBs
1+ years of troubleshooting electronics systems
Working experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
