Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded circuits, flex circuits, PCBs, and display systems for various applications.
- Create and optimize designs for tight-space environments, including cockpit panels and plastic housings, ensuring functionality and durability.
- Utilize SolidWorks to produce accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure design integrity and product functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to space constraints, thermal management, and material selection.
- Participate in design reviews, providing technical input and suggestions to improve product design and performance.
- Work within project timelines, ensuring all designs meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic design, with a focus on embedded circuits, flex circuits, PCBs, and display technologies.
- Proven experience designing for tight-space configurations such as cockpit panels and plastic housings.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and technical drawing creation.
- Strong understanding of materials, thermal management, and mechanical constraints in design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with other CAD software in addition to SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as injection molding and CNC machining.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations for electronic and mechanical design.
