Sign on Bonus: $5,000 for a qualified EMT II
Compensation: $36.90/hour ( $34.90/hour + $2.00 shift differential)
Shift: 2nd Shift (M-F from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) & 3rd Shift (Sun-Thurs 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.)
How you will contribute:
We are looking for someone to perform accomplished technical work in areas of installation, maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Additionally, you will…
- Service and maintain cranes, lathes, drills, presses, press brakes, shears, robots, tube mills, high frequency induction equipment, distribution equipment, CNC and NC equipment.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair plant production equipment.
- Responsible for installation of distribution equipment including gutters, disconnects, conduits and cables following UL and National Electrical Code.
- Responsible for installation and repair of lighting up to 480V, repair of small fixtures, fans, and appliances while also assisting with repair of welders, wire feeds, plasma cutters, and motors over 110V.
- Use trouble-shooting aids, such as digital VOM to interpret necessary readings.
- Record labor and materials and report abnormal conditions and safety hazards.
What it takes:
Required Qualifications-
- Completion of 5 or more Electromechanical Technology Degree classes.
- Experience maintaining industrial equipment.
- Experience using industrial lifting equipment, cranes or hoists.
- Experience using at least one of the following trouble-shooting aides: thermography gun, digital VOM, volt, ohm or amp meters.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and National Electrical Code books for both AC & DC electrical systems.
- Read hydraulic and pneumatic valves and prints.
- Must pass the written Electromechanical Technician II test with a minimum score of 77 and a level II hands-on test.
- Climb and work at elevated heights of up to eighty feet.
Highly qualified candidates will also possess:
- Associates degree in Electromechanical Technology.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Previous hands-on welding experience in a professional environment.
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience with low-voltage electrical / electronic troubleshooting.
