We have an immediate need for an experienced Electromechanical Integration Engineer. As a Electromechanical Integration Engineer, you are expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills required to produce GCS systems for DZYNE unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced engineering design environment is a must. The Electromechanical Integration Engineer will be responsible for establishing a GCS road map for each platform and will technically execute that road map to support several rapidly evolving cutting-edge UAS..

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

Establish and grow team focusing on the architecture, design, fabrication, and sustainment of Ground Control Station (GCS) for DYZNE UAS.
Lead a team of multiple engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and supervision.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and execution of ground control station projects.
Conceptualize and develop solutions related to ground control systems, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, contributing to the overall success of the ground control station development.
Oversee sustaining engineering tasks and work closely with manufacturing on the integration of new and existing GCS assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Able to produce documentation such as engineering drawings, source control drawings, system specs, and test procedures to document the system design.
Provide documentation and make technical presentations as required.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Experience designing and implementation of IP based networking
Understanding of both SATCOM and line of site communication systems
Execute Systems Engineering and Requirements Management activities including use case development, requirements definitions, allocation, verification & validation, and traceability.
Experience designing for Human Machine Interface (HMI) requirements
Experience integrating software systems into government networks
Experience with tactical shelters
Experience with mobile GCS
Experience with cybersecurity and protocols / procedures to connect GCS to military user networks

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related engineering field
5-10 years of relative work experience
Experience reading and interpreting assembly instructions or drawings

Clearance Level Required: US Person Required, Security Clearance Not Required but Highly Desired

Travel: Up to 10% within the US.

Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine.
Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.

Salary: $82K - $161K

Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
