Summary:
Electro-Mechanical Test Technician required to test, service, troubleshoot, and repair assembled Company products and provide technical assistance as needed, interface with customers to address any non-conformances through Root Cause Analysis and apply appropriate corrective measures, including dis-assembly of products, diagnosis and repair of any deficiencies, and assisting to ensure customer satisfaction though top-quality service both at Company facility and at customer sites.
Electro-Mechanical Test Technician required to test, service, troubleshoot, and repair assembled Company products and provide technical assistance as needed, interface with customers to address any non-conformances through Root Cause Analysis and apply appropriate corrective measures, including dis-assembly of products, diagnosis and repair of any deficiencies, and assisting to ensure customer satisfaction though top-quality service both at Company facility and at customer sites.
Duties include assisting customers to identify if Company products may be the cause of any dissatisfaction, troubleshooting and repair of defective products, and communication of defects & resolutions to the client in a prompt & professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of testing equipment specifically supporting assembly procedures to determine product conformances & operational functionality
- Execute root-cause analysis and determine any corrective actions necessary.
- Diagnose, disassemble, repair and re-assemble electromechanical components/assemblies for return to customer.
- Set-up & configuration of hardware & software components after installation
- Provide technical assistance to customers regarding Company equipment at various client locations
- Documentation of all work in field
- Secure all Company tools & equipment employed during service calls
- Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as ordering repair parts, lab and office consumables.
- Educate customers regarding in-house equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Occasional trips to customer locations may be required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- AS in an Engineering discipline required; BS a plus
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical or electronic equipment.
- Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, RSLogix, etc.); knowledge of Python and/or EtherCAT desirable
- Knowledge of IPC-610 soldering, wiring, crimping, assembly-line processes
- Use of testing equipment including an oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications
- Experience with robotic control systems and programming is a plus
- Use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Good verbal & written communications

- First (Mon - Fri / 7:00AM - 3:30PM)

Salary Range:
- $35 - $45/hr DOE
