Job Posting: Electro-Mechanical Technician (1st Shift)
Location: Neenah, WI
Pay: $20 - $30 per hour based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team in Neenah, WI. The primary responsibility will be the electrical and mechanical assembly of electrical control panels and cabinets. This position also involves machine wiring and assisting with machine troubleshooting and startup according to electrical schematics, machine drawings, and engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical skills, mechanical aptitude, and a keen attention to detail, all while thriving in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Electrical Assembly Manager, Assembly Manager, and Electrical Engineers to build high-quality equipment on time. A team-oriented approach to problem-solving is key, and you will receive continuous support from all departments.

Daily Activities:

• Build and wire electrical control panels according to electrical schematics.
• Perform machine wiring per machine drawings and electrical schematics, including mounting and aligning sensors, and routing machine cables.
• Perform mechanical tasks such as attaching enclosures to machines, punching holes in cabinets, and drilling and tapping holes in conveyors.
• Mount conduits, wire-way, and other types of raceway.
• Assist electrical engineers with electrical system pre-functional testing, troubleshooting, and startup.
• Submit weekly timesheets with accurate work documentation.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization.
• Follow workplace safety standards and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to work in other areas as needed based on production demands.

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and Bills of Materials.
• Knowledge of AC/DC control circuits and 3-phase motor control.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in automated industrial control panel building and equipment wiring.
• Proficient with power and hand tools (wire cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, etc.), fabrication machinery, pneumatic tools, and multimeters.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or general labor industries.
• Familiarity with electrical control components (e.g., breakers, disconnect switches, relays, timers).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• General math skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions and blueprints.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-sufficient with minimal supervision and a team player.
• Customer service-oriented with basic hand tools for required tasks.

Preferred Experience:

• Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Experience in the conveyor industry is a plus.
• General computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Exposure to dust, moderate noise, and material handling equipment. Personal protective equipment may be required depending on tasks.

Salary Range:
$20 - $30 per hour based on experience.
