Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Perform all assigned Mechanical and Electrical duties in a safe manner.
- Providing fast and accurate troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, maintaining and servicing of manufacturing and production equipment.
- Communicate any out of the ordinary issues to management.
- Maintain necessary records and documents of all work performed.
Required:
- 5 + years of experience as an Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Technician
- 7 + years of Industrial or Manufacturing equipment experience with strong knowledge of electrical distribution.
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Work with limited supervision
- Able to stand for extended periods, climb, kneel, squat and crawl
- Lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
Working Knowledge:
- Electrical equipment (instrumentation or controls)
- AC & DC motors and motor controls
- Electrical distribution and related equipment
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and automated equipment
- OSHA Standards
Ability to:
- Troubleshoot PLC hardware
- Operate electrical test equipment and interpret results
- Read, understand, and make use of associated drawings, schematics, and diagrams
- Update and maintain documentation
- Understand, interpret, and apply wiring schematics and OEM manuals
- Adapt to innovative technologies i.e., robotics
- Plan, organize and prioritize work activities and duties
- Multitask and work under pressure
- Fabrication work
