Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician - Solon, OH - JOB 24-00898
Salary Range: $30.00 - $36.00/HR + paid travel time Permanent Position with Benefits.
4 weeks PTO first year / 5 weeks PTO starting year 2 + paid travel time
Solon area equipment manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Technician with hands-on electrical/electronic troubleshooting experience as well as general mechanical skills for field equipment assembly, installation, start-up, service, and technical support.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or technical school certificate
- Experience with Service/Maintenance, Commissioning, and Customer Support
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic / pneumatic drawings
- Hands-on experience with wiring from schematics
- Demonstrated electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills / PLC loading and troubleshooting
- Out-going personality, professional demeanor, and well-developed communication skills
- Physically capable to work in a shop environment (stand, kneel, climb, etc.)
- 50 - 75% National Travel (USA). International Travel Mexico & Canada
- Proven experience of support & servicing of OEM equipment.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC 17 th Edition equivalent.
- Full, clean driving license
- Passport required
