Wilkes University invites applicants for an Electrician in the Campus Support Services department. Shift is Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The successful candidate is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide variety of low and high voltage electrical equipment/systems for existing and new construction throughout campus; installing new panels, controls, equipment, lighting fixtures, etc.; adhering to a preventative maintenance program including re-lamping, changing ballast, emergency lighting and generators.
Journeymen license is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in all phases of electrical work, residential and commercial troubleshooting and repairs, as well as generator maintenance and repairs. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
