A residential electrician technician specializes in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential settings. This includes homes, apartments, and other living spaces.

Responsibilities:
- Wiring homes and apartments.
- Installing electrical outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and ceiling fans.
- Setting up electrical panels and circuit breakers.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Repairing faulty wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
- Upgrading older electrical systems to meet current codes and standards.
- Ensuring all work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes.
- Implementing safety procedures to prevent electrical hazards.
- Regularly inspecting electrical systems for safety and functionality.
- Providing estimates and explaining the scope of work to homeowners.
- Advising on energy-efficient solutions and electrical upgrades.
- Responding to emergency electrical issues.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Residential Electrical experience
- Residential electrical install, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Assemble, install, and test electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures!
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, and the parts and installation teams.
- Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The annual salary opportunity for this role ranges from $75k-$85k total comp (no cap). The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.
We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
