Electrician - George P. Johnson Experience Marketing

Our Opportunity

GPJ is looking for an experienced Electrician for our Smyrna, TN facility. 

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as electrical components for industrial machinery. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of exhibits and commercial buildings, such as outlets, lighting, servers, and electronic equipment connections. LED lighting and low voltage systems are a must with emphasis on programing and wire management.

This role is located on-site at our Smyrna location 5 days per week (minimum).

Estimated travel for this position is less than 10%

What You'll Do

• Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and exhibits. Custom LED lighting projects and ability to solder.
• Install conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables
• Ensure piping complies with electrical codes when applicable
• Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
• Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
• Replace conduit and wiring as needed
• Replace circuit breakers as needed
• Create records of materials used 
• Perform other related duties as assigned
