Job Description: As a Service Technician at Stryker Electric, you will be responsible for completing small construction projects and responding to customer service calls. This role involves performing electrical installations, managing teams of journeymen and apprentice electricians, and ensuring high standards of work are met. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and craftsmanship.
Requirements
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Run small crews and complete projects independently or with a team.
- Estimate project timelines and material needs, presenting written estimates to the service manager.
- Identify sales opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, owners, service managers, and team members to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Update as-built drawings and ensure all work complies with code requirements.
- Determine efficient installation methods for modifications to existing services.
- Communicate daily with the service manager regarding scheduling and work progress.
- Obtain and order materials as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of five years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Journeyman Electrical License.
Preferred:
- Valid Driver's License.
Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Professional communication skills with clients and contractors.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience as an electrical worker.
- Ability to complete common repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience with commonly used hand and power tools.

Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, climb ladders, sit, use hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to move or lift more than 75 lbs.
- Occasional extended hours and overtime may be required to meet workload demands.
