Senior Fund Accountant, Payment

Description
The Apex Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fund Accountant to join an inclusive and welcoming team in Shanghai. The job offers a favorable salary and benefits package, including the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.
Job specification
- Processing daily payments according to instructions, in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Monitoring and managing account balances and cut-offs for all currencies
- Coordinate with internal client service teams and ensure complete of payments according to priorities and importance
- Maintain payment log and supporting documents
- Arranging approval schedule for payment to be released on time
- Facilitate the smoothness of E-banking process, including investigating payment related issues
- Participate in new clients on boarding project
- Supervision and training of new joiners
- Perform other ad-hoc duties to support the team leader as may be necessary from time-to-time
- Any other duties in the scope of the role that the company requires
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related equivalent discipline.
- Ability to work in fast paced business environment
- Handling of complex payment structures
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or fund accounting and fund administration work experience
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
- Patient, careful and attention to details
- Good time management skills and ability to work with tight client driven deadlines
- High responsibility and teamwork spirit
