Our team is driving the hiring process for an Electrician or Facilities Electricians and Technicians to support electrical, HVAC, and building management systems (BMS) maintenance across multiple locations. This role offers hands-on work with opportunities to apply and grow your expertise in facility management, contractor oversight, and building system troubleshooting. Key Technical Skills Sought

- Electrical troubleshooting and repair – Work with PLC wiring diagrams, low-voltage systems, relays, and panels.
- HVAC and BMS systems – Diagnose and maintain building automation systems, optimize HVAC performance.
- Mechanical systems knowledge – Boilers, compressors, pumps, PRVs, and closed water systems.
- Permit to Work systems – Issue and manage permits for hot works, confined spaces, and pressure systems.
- Facility maintenance – Lighting systems, plumbing, fire doors, fire/life safety systems, and carpentry.
- Contractor oversight – Manage vendor services, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Safety and environmental compliance – Familiarity with HSE regulations and continuous improvement practices.
- Computer literacy – Proficient with MS Office applications and facility management tools like Microsoft Project.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent years of experience).
- 3+ years of experience working as an electrician or facility/ building systems maintenance, with proficiency in electrical or HVAC systems
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between facilities as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to troubleshoot independently
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA 608 Type II Certification (Universal preferred).
- Previous experience managing permits, isolations, or contractor operations
- Authorized Person (AP) certification or experience with hot works, confined spaces, or pressure systems is a plus.
- City & Guilds certification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction
- Familiarity with water hygiene programs and utility monitoring systems.
- Fire door inspection qualifications or FDIS certification is desirable.
- Experience in energy management programs or optimizing utility performance.
- Supervisory experience managing maintenance teams or contractors.
- Ability to read system drawings and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, HVAC units, and BMS controls to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Perform general facility maintenance, including plumbing, lighting, fire/life safety, and mechanical systems.
- Issue permits and manage isolations for hot works, pressure systems, and other high-risk tasks.
- Travel between multiple facilities to provide technical support and oversee operations.
- Supervise contractors performing maintenance or repairs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Inspect, calibrate, and maintain equipment to meet performance standards.
- Manage inventory and procurement of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Monitor utility and environmental programs to optimize energy use and performance.
