Adecco Staffing is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Peterborough, NH, that produces precision components used in aircraft engines, aircraft structures, and defense equipment for the U.S. Military. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay rates and a chance to join a growing company.
Location: Peterborough, NH
Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Five 8-hour days)
Pay: $30 - $35 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our team. As an electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including power, communications, lighting, and control systems throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical diagrams, schematics, layouts, and specifications to complete tasks.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair in various areas of the facility.
- Define power requirements and provide solutions for new equipment installations.
- Install and maintain wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems and equipment; perform necessary repairs.
- Test systems and equipment for efficiency and adherence to electrical codes.
- Use testing devices, including thermal imaging, to identify electrical issues.
- Repair or replace electrical components and wiring using hand tools and power tools.
- Occasionally lead and train team members on projects.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Adhere to safety protocols in line with local regulations, the National Electric Code, and OSHA standards.
- Work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts as necessary.
- Perform tasks that may require bending, stooping, crouching, and climbing for extended periods.
- Demonstrate manual dexterity to handle small components and use hand tools.
- NH Journeyman Electrician license (or higher) required, with opportunities to advance to a Master Electrician.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance of complex grids.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following general direction.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical service and systems (telecommunications, HVAC, manufacturing systems, etc.).
- Senior-level tradesperson with extensive knowledge of safety and code requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
