Job Summary: LPN FT 40 Hours Days. Electrician.
Position Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the electrical section including and overseeing the work of employees who instill, repair and maintain building/facilities. Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees work product. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities: Permits from the city of Methuen for electrical work, interfacing with Electrical Engineers on building projects, trains personnel, power & lighting systems, emergency generators & battery lighting, fire alarm, nurse call system, Building Management systems/ Energy Management systems and installations, Preventive Maintenance systems, overseeing electrical contractors, perform installation of electrical systems, equipment and construction, oversees and implements electrical utilities rebates programs, purchasing supplies for systems of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspects and performs PM on assigned equipment to assure that equipment operates at optimum performance. Promptly communicates and documents all findings.
- Can access and input information on the PM computer software.
- Can access information on the METASYS/IFC20-20 computer.
- Demonstrates general knowledge in the following systems: Fire, Security, Nurse Call, and Emergency Power.
- Trouble shoots electrical system with appropriate meters/devices in a logical/methodical manner.
- All work performed meets code requirements and is done in a neat and workmanlike manner.
- Meets department standards for quantity of work.
- Meets department standards for quality of work.
- Maintains an adequate level of supplies while utilizing vendor's stock in a manner that minimizes hospitals' investment in supplies
- Certification/Licensure: Massachusetts Master Electrician’s license
