We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Electrician for our manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong electrical background to join a dynamic and innovative manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical systems and machinery are functioning optimally, enabling the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of electrical systems, including 24VDC, 11VAC, and 460VAC. You will also be expected to troubleshoot, wire, and install these systems as per requirements.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of AC and DC Drives.
Work with PLC, specifically Allen Bradley PLC's, and have a good understanding of Ladder logic.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with electrical schematic, troubleshooting, AC and DC Drives, 24VDC, 11VAC, 460VAC, wiring, and installation.
Proficient in the use of PLC, particularly Allen Bradley PLC's, and Ladder logic.
In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
Valid license to practice the profession.
