Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all electrical work
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers on electrical projects
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance and repair work performed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completed apprenticeship in electrical systems preferred
- Valid electrician license and relevant certifications
- Proven experience as an electrician within the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
