Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Lafayette, IN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $28/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
- Commercial work
- Measure, cut, & install wiring and conduit systems
- Install & program electrical equipment
- Follow electrical blueprints and schematics
- Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, & oiling electrical motors & components
- Interpret PLC ladder logic programs
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
-
- 4+ Years of Experience as an Apprentice or Journeyman Level Electrician; Commercial, Industrial, Residential Applications
- Must have Commercial Electrical Experience
- Experience working with Hand Tools, Power Tools, & Electronic Test Equipment
- Knowledgeable about Technological Developments
- Must be able to work on Circuits & Large-scale Electrical Equipment
- Ability to read/interpret Blueprints
- Knowledge of Electrical Systems
- Knowledge of NEC & Local Electrical Codes
- Communication Skills
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Must have Hand Tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and limb ladders
